Our house is conveniently located. The city can be reached on foot in just 10 minutes.
Just a few minutes walk from the house are some destinations. Some of the destinations can also be visited in winter.

Dokumentation Obersalzberg

Jennerbahn

A comfortable, almost noiseless 10-passenger gondola. Start your hike with varios levels of difficulty from the middle station at 1.200m or the mountain station at 1.800m. Or you enjoy the modern gastronomy in the restaurant with a spectacular view of the Berchtesgaden mountains.
Königssee

The most beautiful lake in the world! A paradise piece of earth. With the ship you go on the emerald green colored water to the landmark of the Königssee, St. Bartholomä. If you continue one stop, you will reach the Obersee and from there on foot to the highest waterfall in Germany, the Röthbachfall (470 meters high).
Salzburg

The city of Salzburg, birthplace and place of work of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The narrow streets and wide squares of the old town have been declared a World heritage Site by UNESCO. All this just a few kilometers from our house!
Kehlsteinhaus

A historical viewpoint! Completed in 1938 as a representative building by the NSDAP, it now serves as a restaurant. With the unique view over the Berchtesgaden mountains and the area around Salzburg, this place is also intended as a memorial to commemorate the abysses of the inhuman Nazi dictatorship.
Naturbad Aschauerweiher

The largest natural pool in Germany! A great place for the whole family. In addition to the 4200m ² water surface, the bath has a bathing beach with a stream, diving rocks, pirate island with suspension bridge, as well as spacious meadow and wooden lying areas with panoramic views.
Almbachklamm

The almost three kilometer hike through the Almbach Gorge is the perfect destination on hot summer days. Along the roaring water and in the shade of the trees you can marvel at the breathtaking natural spectacle.
Nationalpark Berchtesgaden

The first and only German Alpine National Park! With over 250 km long trail network, the right area for hiking. The nature reserve (approx. 21,000 hectares) is an untouched patch of nature in which humans do not intervene. Listen to the birds' voices, marvel at gentians and edelweiss, marmots and golden eagles.
Soleleitungsweg

A leisurely hike along the route of the brine pipeline from 1817, with a panoramic view of the historic center of Berchtesgaden and the wonderful mountains.
Watzmann Therme

Water fun on a total of 900m² in any weather offers for small or large. Adventure pool with a flow channel, an 80-meter black hole slide and a sports pool. Families with small children can find their own water world in the colorful parent-child area.
Salzbergwerk

Salt is still mined in the Berchtesgaden salt mine today, as ever. The visitor train takes you on a total of 1.400 m long deep into the interior of the salt mountain. In addition to the miner's slide, the trip over the underground salt lake is a highlight of the tour.
Haus der Berge

Museum with a difference - seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting and making nature understandable is the motto of the Berchtesgaden National Park Center. For all nature lovers with a spirit of discovery. Changing exhibitions are waiting to be discovered by you.

Skiing
60 kilometers of slopes in 6 ski areas.
Interesting runs at altitudes between 600 and 1,874 meters above sea level attract skiers to Berchtesgaden. Ideal conditions for a family ski vacation, but also for beginners and professionals.
